Junior Golf Programme's

I have spent much of my last 18 year's devoted to developing the junior programmes at both Styal Golf Club and the Cheshire County Academy Programme since its launch in 2010.

The friendly accessable facilities at Styal GC make it the perfect environment for Junior golf.

The Player Performance Programme

Introduced in 2016 to bring together some of the finest up and coming young players in the North West.

A competitive and fun learning environment to motivate and push the young golfer to achieve their potential.

There are currently two squads, an under 13 and an under 16's. Application for places for the 2017 September intake will be open from April 2017.

Cheshire County Coaching

Places available to any aspiring boys or girls.

5 Level Programme - Age 9 and above

These are weekly 1 hour coaching sessions that last for 8 weeks. We have a Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter programmes. Level 1 is for complete beginners followed by a pathway to Level 5 where junior golfers will have handicaps on the main course and are proficient, knowledgeable and competent to play on any course.

6to8 Programme

A unique programme that is designed specifically for the younger golfer. Filled with fun games, challengers and playing and progression opportunities. Each junior progresses through the award scheme collecting medals and prizes along the way, records kept in their own progress folders.

Junior Competitions

We run a host of well supported junior events and competitions throughout the season. We have two order of merits, one on the main course and one on the par 3. these include our version of the'majors' including the British Open, The Masters and Ryder Cup.

The junior team also have host of fixtures and have had great success over recent years, winners of the mid cheshire leaugue and the BMW Matchplay team championship.
